One Fine Sunday

“Wake up dear its 10. How much are you going to sleep? Even kumbhakaran would have got complex if he would be alive now” mom was yelling from kitchen. It was not enough of cessation my sugar sleep that evil member of my family took charge to exasperate me by playing stupid basshunter’s song vociferously.

“Stopover that non sense else I’ll smash your that music player you monster” I shouted at my younger brother by wrapping my head snugly by my super soft pillow. He did unerringly what he shouldn’t have done. He dragged my bed sheet and commenced exhorting “Di get up now, else I’ll have to call dad then he’ll see you better”. This was contravention of limits; he blackmailed me! I had to rouse nonetheless to retort him.

Continued from Life's a Bitch Part-1

I nodded to him but in my mind’s eye I smiled to myself – the “joke” was going to be on him! Then I waved everyone goodbye, went to the waiting hall, sat on a chair, opened my bag and took out the letter I had written to Aarti.

During the flight I alleged about it. After trying my utmost, I just could not envisage Aarti as my wife in my new life any more. Till now I had done everything to make everybody happy. But It was my life; Time would heal wounds, abate the injury and dissipate the anger; but what if I got trapped for life with Aarti, it would be an absolute adversity.

Life's a Bitch!! Part-1

Life's a Bitch

“When did you come home? And what are you doing here? Did you have dinner?” my mom was staggered when she wedged me in kitchen so started questioning like archetypal concerned mother. “Yeah mom” I retorted as cold as water bottle elicited from refrigerator. I knew my mom was nippy enough to clench resentment behind my unruffled reply. She became quizzical to find ulterior “What’s wrong Nishant? Is there anything troubling you? Didn’t party go well?”

An Amazing Love Story

A cup of coffee

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home....suddenly he asked the waiter "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee." Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby? He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood,  think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

Are You LONELY OR ALONE??

Ever feel like you are the only person on the planet whom no one cares about? Like you are the only one who has no friends….no one to talk to?? Do you sometimes think you’re different and you don’t fit in? if you have answered yes to even one of the above questions then I have some good news for you – you are not the only one who feels that way. Believe it or not, but the truth is that everyone in this world goes through that feeling of being alone and unloved at some point or the other in their lives.
