LEARNING FROM BHAGWAD GITA-I

The knowledge and wisdom granted to Arjun by Lord Shri Krishna

Dear friends whatever that you are about to read in this article is summary of the great "BHAGWAD GITA" which I was fortunate enough to read in times when I was completely in mess and was trying my best to fight against it, and today I have realized the change that the great Bhagwad Gita has brought in my life. The wordings of Lord Krishna gives you a complete crystal clear vision of what life is and how you can live it to the fullest without getting too attached to the materialistic things in life that tend to give you sorrow and pain in times to come.

After I finished reading The Gita I find myself completely transformed to a person who can understand life better that he ever did. Friends Bhagwad Gita is too vast and there too many things which you might think are difficult to follow in today’s world, but to your amazement there are some simple things that you can follow even in today's busy hassle filled days of your personal or professional life; for which you don't need to be a saint or a Mahatma. Herein I have tried to simplify and explain my understanding from some extracts from the great epic to keep it simple short and sweet I will post the learning in parts.

The first thing that you understand is the simple truth of life which is:

“Whatever happened, happened for the good; whatever is happening, is happening for the good; whatever will happen, will also happen for the good only. You need not have any regrets for the past. You need not worry for the future".

Yes if you believe in that almighty god regardless of whichever form of his you believe in, you must know that whatever he has planned for you has to be good. Alike as a mother can never wish her children’s to face troubles but sometimes she lets them face some, because she wants them to be strong enough and learn from their mistakes. Similarly the almighty God who is our mother our father always looks after us and tries to make us better everyday. So when you have got yourselves acquainted to this almighty truth you can see there is no reason to feel depressed and lose your hopes against life as it was always meant to happen like that, neither you neither anyone else could have changed it.

The Second truth that reveals itself in Gita is that;

The divine wisdom granted by lord Krishna to Arjuna
"What did you lose that you cry about? What did you bring with you, which you think you have lost? What did you produce, which you think got destroyed? You did not bring anything - whatever you have, you received from here. Whatever you have given, you have given only here. Whatever you took, you took from God. Whatever you gave, you gave to him. You came empty handed, you will leave empty handed. What is yours today, belonged to someone else yesterday, and will belong to someone else the day after tomorrow. You are mistakenly enjoying the thought that this is yours. It is this false happiness that is the cause of your sorrows".

Yes the biggest truth which we all know still we are so reluctant to accept it. Every person that we meet in our lifetime is predefined by the destiny; then may it be your parents, friends, partner, etc. how much time well no one knows then why not live each day with them as if it is a last day and try to make them happy and in turn be happy. At the same time Lord Krishna tells us that don't get to attached to anyone as one or the another day that person has to leave you as it is destiny and no one to blame. The moment we accept this fact of nature how easy it gets to live our life, now you have no reason to feel depressed or feel dumped by someone, as it was the destiny and surely one day you will realize that it happened for your betterment.
